My heart has been pounding lately because I have been very stressed (body makes adrenaline). Now, as the stress is gradually reducing, my heart is not pounding as much. I know that it's not too much thyroid for me because I don't take very much. I have a hard time going 4 h without a dose too... but I don't mind crashing at night..... By dosing around the clock you are really suppressing any natural cortisol production that you may have had.... and even natural cortisol production usually declines at night. Is is isocort that you are using or cortef? Is there any way that you could contact that nurse practitioner in Seattle? Concerned about you. > > > Inga, > > Anything that I have seen about cortef dosings says to take it in > > three or four doses spread over the day and stopping at 4 pm.
