Guest guest Posted November 30, 2008 Report Share Posted November 30, 2008 HI I also have another question, my husband was told at his last visit with the transplant center that he might consider a live donor for a transplant. we have lived most of our lives in California and moved to Texas two years ago to be closer to our kids. My understanding in Ca if you were a donor you qualified for disability benefits under the CA state disability program, does anyone know of any benefits here in Texas if you are a donor for someone are there any employment benefits or do you just lose that pay time.
