Guest guest
Is it just me or is everyone else in a flare too. This is the worst I have had in several years. It has lasted over a month now.

Guest guest
My meds make me sleep all the time, so I try and do without. But then sometimes the pain is so bad that I have to take them. What gets me is that everyone looks at you like with that look of " you look fine to me " . I just wish they could feel the pain for at least 5 minutes. -- Re: Flare I don't know. I have been hurting really bad lately also. Last night I cried myself to sleep. The meds are making me really sick to my stomach so I haven't taken anything today. Sometimes, it just doesn't seem worth it anymore. Quality of life? There isn't any... Sherri > Is it just me or is everyone else in a flare too. This is the worst I have > had in several years. Guest guest
Mine too! -- Re: Flare Yes, especially my dear husband. If he gets a twinge of a pain anywhere he is popping ibuprofen like M&M's! He would absolutely die of this disease...

Guest guest
Really cold weather and very humid weather is the worst for me. Right now I am in one as the humidity is starting to climb again! When you hurt and are down is right, that is a flare. You are just hurting and drained of energy and just can't move well at all. I really get it in the back and upper chest, arms and legs. It is one big hurting and it don't stop! Just my two cents!! Shirley Flare Some of us do live in a long flare. You'll know its a flare when you've had a few good weeks and then it knocks you down again. I live in the Ohio Valley; mid thru late summer is hard on me due to heat/humidity and believe it or not - hurricane season. I am profoundly effected by barometric pressure
Guest guest
Funny you should ask, this is the first time in a year I have been pain free completely. I'm not tired, achy, twitching, no active tender points, if you push on them they still hurt a little but nothing to make me scream. I contribute this to staying up for 32 hrs because I couldn't sleep, then I fell to sleep within 5 minutes of getting in bed, I slept so well and woke up refreshed. That was Friday, same good sleep saturday, and last night I slept well again because of flu medication, (stinkin flu had to interrupt my non- flare). Today I'm not hurting still except for my head feels weird, I must have gotten the 7 day flu cause it won't go away. > Is it just me or is everyone else in a flare too.
