Guest guest
, My husband is in the process of getting listed. As far as I know his amonia levels are ok. During this last hospital stay he started experiencing some of the anger, fear, sadness, frustration that I imagine most of the rest of you feel from time to time. I think what you're feeling is pretty normal. I will pray that you will get your transplant soon. I know we are ready to move on with life. You will be in my prayers. Guest guest
I believe what you are experience is unfortunately a normal part of the process. At times I to am short tempered and impatient with those around me even through I try hard not to be but it is difficult at times. I work hard not to miss to much work to save my leave for the TRX. But as a manager, I get frustrated when employees call in sick with a headache or couldn't sleep last night – I wish I could trade places with them for one day. The way I cope is to have hobbies that I can do that are not taxing on my system. I am restoring an older Corvette tinker with most days and gets driven to work most days in the summer – I found taking the long way home helps relieve my stress. Some nights my wife can tell I am down and we get in the Vette and go find an Ice Cream Stand. Anything just to forget the Pain and itching. Hang in there. We are here for you. Guest guest
I find myself getting short with my sister a lot... For one thing she watches me like a hawk, and if it wince she jumps on it asking if I'm getting an infection. She was trying to "take care" of me by coming in and doing things around my house while I was a work, but we talked about that and she's better about it now. But try as she might, she just can't help watching me to see if I'm getting sick. Nita

Guest guest
I have a Frisbee that's labeled: HOW TO HANDLE STRESS: 1. Kick something 2. Count to 10 3. Whip this at somebody's head Strangely, not very effective with dogs This is not unusual at all. I expressed my views in message #26388 (still true). Guest guest
Arne, The frisbee is perfect, sure wish I had had one of those - the humor itself would have made me feel better.
