Guest guest Posted December 25, 2008 Report Share Posted December 25, 2008 Hi I'm with Chaim on this one. My first liver biopsy was so painful it wasn't funny. I was ok after they gave me pethediene though:). When I had my second one I had it under a GA because I said there was no way I was going through that again. After both of them I had to lie on my side for four hours. Actually, I think after the first one I stayed the night in hospital. Can't really remember, it was over 10 years ago. I'm supposed to be having another one to check for AIH but I've put it off so don't know when I will have it. Richelle New Zealand PS I hope everyone is having a great Christmas. It's boxing day here now, the weather is cold, supposed to be summertime here, and I've got a headache, probably from the alcohol I drank. I never drink, but when you're with my family sometimes you've got to take drastic measures! Might just have to take it easy and have a lie down and read a good book all day.
