Guest guest
Nikki, I don't blame you, honey, for feeling angry. I have just been through a bunch of tests over the last six months, and in all the testing for upper abdominal pain they discovered that I have congestive heart failure. While I was in hospital being treated for that, they did one last desperate attempt at finding the source of my pain. They did an endoscopy and colonoscopy, and found a very large stomach ulcer. I am now being treated for that, as well, and the pain is gone. So, yes, it can be a lengthy and frustrating process, but the so-called professional who do these things to and for you don't have to make it worse by ignoring your concerns and pain. That is just plain stupid on their part, and could leave them wide open for malpractice suits. After all, what if something had happened that resulted in severe consequences for you or another patient, all because they couldn't be bothered to explain and reassure you. Sounds like they are the type of people who would walk up to a man mowing his lawn, and say, "Oh, mowing the lawn?" Another here's your sign moment, for sure. I would assert myself (I have been known to to do publicly in waiting rooms.) with these people, tell them how you feel about the way in which you were treated, and if they can't stand a little constructive criticism, find another doctor. Good luck, honey. Keep us posted on how you are doing, and I sure hope the pain lets up for you. Have you tried Immodium AD to relieve and slow down the problem? Works well for me when I have to wear the Potty Princess Tiara, believe me. Loving hugs, MM
