Guest guest
Well I drink a POT of coffee a day, and about 2 -16 OZ glasses of milk. No water, no soda. No juice. Once in a while I have a hot cocoa. You aren't as bad as me. LOL *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes? Guest guest
If your situation was mine, I'd make sure the coffee is decaf and organic (the latter to avoid the pesticides---coffee is high in them). And...I would cut out most of the soft drinks except for special occasions, and switch to iced tea sweetened with Stevia....or diluted orange juice....or diluted V8. I do all the above. LOL. Sodas are really not good for you---they leech the calcium out of your bones, and the artificial sweeteners are not good in the long run. Guest guest
LaCretia, one of the huge side effects I have had every time I have tried any adrenal support, including glandulars is peeing constantly! I am tapering off the last I tried as we speak, (I had tried Pred 5 MG a day for the last about 2.5 weeks) and I am finally not going as much. This is day three of 2.5MG. Tomorrow I will have none and the next day 2.5 MG. I did not gain any benefit form the adrenal support so I am stopping it before my body depends on it more. Guest guest
Oh no, everything is always sugar free. That why I could tell myself it was ok! Its just not ok. Diagnosed with Raynauds yesterday, and was told to cut out all caffeine. I dont smoke so I have that going for me. Today, I am cutting coffee in half, and diet pepsis down to two. I dont want a withdrawl migraine... but by next week I hope to be 90% caffeine free. Getting rid of all that fake sugar crap is going to be good for me too. You know, when I was a teen I was anorexic and bullemic. I think thats where all my stupid eating issues stems from. Now, I think, I just go way out the other way, having whatever I want, instead of nothing at all. Still some crazy control thing I suppose. Now, its just the lack of. > > Even writing this it > > seems obvious to me that there is a serious issue here.... > ________________________ > I'd be in the hospital on life support with this amount of caffeine > and sugar. > > Tish

Guest guest
I told the several doctors that I had suspected the Cortef was causing me to pee all the time and all of them (3 different ones) and they disagreed. I know that since I have reduced my afternoon dose, I'm peeing less already. I think some folks have reactions that doctors don't expect... I'm glad to hear that I'm not nuts thinking this! Guest guest
Bad pony! BAD! Just kidding, but it does sound like you're self-medicating. There was a time when my first cup of coffee made me feel awake and ready for the day. Then, without noticing it, it started taking two. Soon I had a cup of coffee with me all day, and I was never ready for the day, even after it was over. After I quit the coffee, I was surprised to find out that it made no difference anymore. Caffeine will flog your adrenals, and that will work for a while, but once they're shot, no amount of caffeine will help. At least, that's my interpretation of what happened to me. Now, if my wife makes coffee, and if it smells good, I have one, but I rarely feel like another, and I don't really notice any " boost " from it. Same for pop, although sometimes I do crave them. Usually one pop takes care of it, though. The fact that you're cold is suggestive. Does anything else warm you up? A hot shower? Hot tea? Or does it need caffeine? It's probably not sugar, because you seem to like diet just as much as regular. Did you do the saliva test and/or the eyeball test in the book? Sorry, bad memory. -- prr " bluesparklepony " myidahobeachbum@... wrote: Ok, so some gave up coffee, some gave up soda. Some still drink one a day. I think I have a serious problem. Guest guest
I have to admit I also drink coffee like there's no tomorrow... and I can drink a pot and go right to sleep. I don't feel like it really helps wake me up, but if I don't have it I get headaches and am very foggy in the brain all day. No more awake physically, but mentally I need it.
