Guest guest
... If you are just waiting for the Adrenal tests to come back and you have a doctor willing to do all of this then I would wait. You sound like you have found a doc with a brain so, I would wait and if needed take the Cortef. Hope this helps! LaCretia > > >Ok I've been to afraid to deal with this all week. Here goes. Guest guest
I used to do 20 minutes of exercise every morning -- getting my a** out of bed. Be careful with licorice root. It sent my BP through the roof. Well, 150 over something, higher than I've ever been. You might just want to check it every so often. Now that you've done the spit test, you get to the fun part. Waiting..... 3 long weeks while you wonder if it will show anything, and if it does will the doctor treat it right, and are you going to wrap your car around a bridge abutment in the morning because you can't sleep all night. The Cortef is what finally fixed me, but others have had bad reactions to Cortef and liked either OTC glandulars, or the more synthetic steroids. You'll probably have to try things to see what works, but the doc that recommended Cortef is not off base. It seems to me, having observed many stories like this in this group, that maybe Armour is harder on adrenals than either T4 or T3 alone (probably because it actually works). I was on Cytomel for months, and although I wasn't much better, my adrenals were just fine. I started Armour and turned into the Amazing Human Paint Shaker.
