Guest guest
Hey, at least you didnt say you felt crappy, like you were fifty years old, like I said yesterday! Talk about foot in mouth!!!! Sometimes, with this illness and the (stupid) doctors, a laugh is as good a medicine as anything on a RX pad! I was just diagnosed with some weird circulation thing today to top off this hypo garbage! Hang in there, Im sure someone here can help you. Im just hanging around to irritate some people and make others laugh at me. > Ok I've been to afraid to deal with this all week. Here goes. I had my first set of tests almost two months ago and Langer did the SNAFU by not ordering the Free T3 or several other important tests. For Valentine's Day I went to Dr Toth, Jr in Concord and what a guy! After the 2 1/2 hr intake his nurse, Marcy gave me an adrenal 4x kit to take home. Big crash after all the excitement and not taking my beginning 2days of my baby dose of Armour for a few days (on top of blindly taking bovine otc glandular for about 10 days I think.) > The reason I had backed down is the pretty drastic angina, shakes, muscle spasms, body temp going wild with hot patches on a cadaver- frozen body. The brain fog-- I finally with everyone's help got the next labs figured out. Doc thought I'd go to Kaiser but to tell you the truth, I can't make myself go because part of me is very afraid that I'm too fragile to deal with bad AMA stuff. So I''ve been taking the licorice, even though I'm a myxedema/etrogen dominant gal with now 3 autoimmune diseases and some of the scariest high blood pressure headaches I can remember. > Ok I did the 4xspit test Mon, the rest of the lab yesterday and now all I want is to get back my life. Is it better if I keep with the licorice? wait until I see the Doc again when the lab results come back?--and he said Cortef. Or shall I order some adrenal support now? or start with a tiny amt of Armour? The progesterone cream? > > I'm in serious adrenal exhaustion a besides the headache the brain fog is bad I feel like I'm either hanging upside-down or squished by too much gravity...there. that's what I've been trying to figure out for days. Oh the reason I didn't take anything was for the tests because I thought that since I'd only had a near random amount for less than two weeks it would clear and give an accurate baseline for all right tests. once I get this going, I am never going off supports again. for any body. Thanks for reading this. I tried real hard to make sense as I typed because I can't read very well this week. I think I'm in rocky shape. --oh, yeah maybe I forgot about the heart pounding and the muscle spasms and the sound of water running in my ears and feeling really crappy. > > Have a nice day, huh? LOL. Oh, yeah, Langer told me I needed to exercise and take his vitamins.... > > Thanks Ladies and our few Gents who made me really laugh! God Bless us All. Guest guest
Val, Let's see, licorice a few days the weekend before 2/14 and then yesterday and today. I only was on real Armour Thursday and Friday before that and I was taking the OTC for a bit before the Armour arrived. I haven't had Armour since the Friday before 2/14 so NO ARMOUR for 10 days. Licorice for 2 days, this time plus 2-3 days a week ago. , let me understand you here, you were using licorice? And how much Armour? Guest guest
... If you are just waiting for the Adrenal tests to come back and you have a doctor willing to do all of this then I would wait. You sound like you have found a doc with a brain so, I would wait and if needed take the Cortef. Hope this helps! LaCretia > > >Ok I've been to afraid to deal with this all week. Here goes.
