Guest guest Posted February 18, 2005 Report Share Posted February 18, 2005 There appears to be a very high correlation between (even undiagnosed!) hypothyroid +/or autoimmunity in moms and our kids with Autism Spectrum Disorders: ADD, ADHD, NLD, Asperger's, HFA, Autism. There are several comorbid conditions/states, i.e., low selenium, low iodine/iodate, iron overload, Lyme (Borrelia burgdorferi), viruses such as EBV, HHV, MMR viruses, amalgam/vaccine illness, the list is fairly daunting. Thank God we have the internet for information, networking and support like this list. Thank God we are not alone, anymore. Such moms are seriously stressed out.
