Well, finally made it back to the computer after a week :( we weren't

hit by Charley, but we had to be evacutated, and after being up for

36 hours straight in a shelter I was feeling pretty sick this week.

Been praying for all our central florida lupies, looks like everyone

made it ok from all the messages :) now I've learned a lot about

evacuation, and the need for a GOOD huricane kit. Although I was

better off than some at the shelter, I did learn that I really NEED

an inflatable matress, I don't know what I would have done if I had

to remain at the shelter much longer, since I couldn't sleep on the

floor (although the kids had no problems!)

The wierd thing about the sudden change in Charley's path is that it

left us with nice weather, although it was overcast Friday night, it

only actually rained for about 15 minutes where I was!

as for my lump, I have an appointment for a mamogram next week, and

am NOT looking forward to it, since I am already in pain :( but I

know how important it is, so I am following through with it.

I think it's just the stress of all of this, but I've hardly been out

of bed this week, and my hair is falling out again. Today I went for

a cut so it wouldn't look so thin and scraggly. It isn't REALLY bad,

but I certainly notice the difference, and the kids are alarmed by

all the hair in the sink and when they play with my hair they get a

lot stuck to thier fingers :( Being sick is ONE thing, but I hate

LOOKING sick :(

anway, since I am a little more energized today I think I'll spend

the day doing " ME " things, then get back to concentrating on the

household and all the medical stuff over the weekend...
