All seems to have gone a bit quicker than i imagined, was only diagnosed 2 years ago this month! They come across as an extremely knowledgable, tight-knit group, and all the staff from cleaners up to big boss doctor folk are nice and friendly! Now the waiting begins! The docs have decided that i'm suitable for a live liver transplant, and at least 1 of my brothers and my mum are getting assessed to see if they're suitable to donate to me. Has anyone on here had a liver donated from a friend or family? At the moment i'm feeling pretty much against getting a portion of one of their livers, as i'm scared something might happen to one of them because of me and them having to go through a procedure that they don't have to! Hmm..
