Sandy, did anything change in your lifestyle around October to explain the great weight loss--i.e. what you ate, exercise?? Or, was it simply the Armour and now Naturethroid dose of 3 1/2 grains--i.e. the increased metabolism?? Janie
Guest guest
Janie, the only thing that was going on that week was my brother being hospitalized for a heart attack. I worked everyday, then went to the hospital every evening to visit with him and my mom. I was getting achy is why I upped from 3 to 3 1/2 grains. The 3 1/2 grains stopped the achiness instantly but it was past time for an increase anyway. :-) My days consist of getting up, speeding to work, working from 8-5, and I eat out most days for lunch. I'm not a big fan of fast food, but I just stop eating when I'm full. If that means half a plate of food is sitting in front of me, I leave it. I am not a dieter and never have been. I don't exercise either. lol. I start my day off with an ice cold can of coke, and if one doesn't do it, then I have a second one. I'm addicted to them, and I never drink diet anything. I hate em. Would rather drink water and save the money than put anything diet in my mouth. Mom and I ate out most nights while he was in the hospital at Luby's or later at Denny's after I'd show her how to get home (she gets lost a lot). My metabolism is more like it was when I was in my early 20's. I didn't eat but a saucer of food then at night after working all day and I stayed busy with a 2-3 yr old in the evenings plus I went dancing a lot back then several times a week. I've never been one to have to watch what I eat, and it's like that now. I can't explain it, but I'm not gonna question it either. This is such a welcome relief. I still smoke, and hope to give it up, but if I don't, it's no big deal to me. I also keep a box of candy (mini jaw breakers) at my side for when I'm tired of smoking and they are not fat free. Since I don't smoke in the car, I have a jawbreaker in my mouth a lot. I am really enjoying this. I may go a few weeks without losing, like I did recently, but once the 'slump' is over, the weight starts coming off again. The last slump was when I realized I'd gone from 4 1/2 grains of armour to only 4 grains of Naturethroid.
