I thought some of your group members maybe interested in our research. There is no charge to participate and we are giving out $10 amazon gift certificates for participating. We develop and evaluate self-management programs for people living with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and arthritis. We have recently started to take our self-management programs on-line and have been offering workshops as part of research studies via the Internet. We have several programs that we plan to launch in 2004, and we are currently recruiting for a Questionnaire study to determine the reliability of health information collected on-line. It is important that the results obtained in our surveys are generalizable across populations. For this reason, we would like to make sure that we are recruiting from a diverse population. I was wondering if you could post a message on the boards about the study. I have included recruitment information for the Questionnaire study below, and would be happy to send additional recruitment information on future studies. the web address for the study is https://healthyliving.stanford.edu/qs/ I look forward to hearing from you! Study Information: Help Internet Health Research! Stanford University is looking for people living with any chronic health condition for a one time questionnaire study.
