Guest guest
Fran, I don't know where the years have gone. I am 55 this year, and still have two children at home to raise. Some days I feel like I live in the twilight zone. I'm sure you can relate. As for the question you asked about expected upcoming treatments, I have not had those and can't answer the query. Perhaps another member has? Please pipe up and tell Fran what you know, guys. Good luck with the new therapy. Loving hugs, MM
Guest guest
Hi Fran Sorry to hear about your past experience. You;re right though, just about everyone here has had some kind of terrible exoerience woith this or another disease, sorry my typing stinks today. Anyway - I was working for a neurolgy group before I quit for medical reasons. We used IVIG all the time with MS patients. They toilerated it very well and seemed to benefit from the treatment, I cant give specifics but I know at one point my docs were considering IVIG for me. I too have brain issues with this disease, not quite as bad as yours seems to be. But anyway I just wanted to tell you that most of the people I know did very well with ivig althopugh they were not lupies so to speak. As long as the whole being hooked up to an IV thing for a few days doesnt bother you. Good luck to you and I hope you find the answers you;re looking for. meg
