Guest guest
Hi . Don't get down on yourself! I have a 4 year old girl and am in a similar situation at the same time of the month! Misery loves company! LOL I try to think of it this way...It's like being a single, stay at home mom with a paycheck! As yucky as I can feel, my daughter still favors me to my husband because I take the time. I also try to remember that I will not be the one regretting not being home 10 years from now. Keep your face to the sun! Missy

Guest guest
I'm feeling very down. Major PMS and I hurt all over. I'm so tired and sick of feeling like this. I've been to every kind of specialist and I worry so much that they have missed something. I don't want to be one of those people, you know the ones that have cancer or some other disease that goes undiagnosed for years and then it's too late for treatment. I know I sound terrible. My husband travels a lot for his job. He was gone all last week and worked part of this weekend. Because of a family party today, he didn't get to spend any time with our little guy. Which our son started to cry about. It's heartbreaking. I feel like I don't have enough time or energy for him and his Dad is out of town so often. I do the best I can, we have many friends and playdates. And everyone tells me I'm a fantastic Mom, I just feel like he's gotten a bad deal. I get very sad and worried around the time of my period, so this is nothing new. I just wanted to vent and ask for a little support. Thanks for listening. Guest guest
Thanks Missy. It's nice to hear from a fellow at-home Mom. This job has definite perks. (such as sticky hugs and kisses and hours spent cloud watching!) But, this week has been particularly hard and filled with comments from well-meaning strangers and friends, like, " if you got a job, you'd feel better. " (I have a job-- I'm a household manager and I do many hours of volunteer work per week!) Thanks for your wisdom and the reminder that this job has no regrets for me and never will! > Hi . > > Don't get down on yourself! We are all here for you. As to getting all weepy and down with PMS, have you asked your gynecologist about PMDD(premenstrual disphoric disorder), which is basically very bad pms that keeps you from functioning normally during your pms and period time. I have this. Since I went on the Zoloft, I have not had this problem. Which is wonderful, considering how horrible I was when I was PMS'ing. My periods have been more tolerable as well, which is weird. Has anyone else noticed this? That their periods are less painful when on anti-depressants? Take care . Anytime you need to vent, or need support, we are all here for you.
