Guest guest
You are having hormonal breakouts which always come out like cysts - usually in your mouth/chin area as a result of being off the pill. Having dry skin is MUCH easier to manage than acne so if that was the ONLY reason you went off you might consider either going back on that pill if you skin was breakout free or try another pill. " Supposedly " combo pills are supposed to help your skin and progesterone only birth control pills are supposed to make your skin worse. I have used both types of birth control but have never had acne whether on the pill or not so I have professional rather than personal experience on this one! I have seen this happen a bunch and almost always the acne goes away when you get back on the pill and your hormones are more regulated. Guest guest
Of course, dearie, anything is possible but if I remember right you (or original poster) have been off the pill since October and it is the middle of June. I think 90 days should be enough time to see the difference. I have known people to wait it out over 18 months and have it clear up within 30-45 days after starting the pill again. Always follow your gut. Jana

Guest guest
Is it possible that the breakouts will clear up after a few months or so being off the pill? I would think our hormones would need some time to balance themselves. --- mytgryphon@... wrote: > You are having hormonal breakouts which always come > out like cysts - usually > in your mouth/chin area as a result of being off the > pill. Guest guest
Dearie? I don't to whom you're speaking, but if it's me, you're wrong as I'm not off the pill and I wasn't even a member of this list in October. But I'll keep the 90 day theory in mind. --- MyTGryphon@... wrote: > Of course, dearie, anything is possible but if I > remember right you (or > original poster) have been off the pill since > October and it is the middle of > June. Guest guest
I've been off BC for 8 months. Do u think it will take longer for my hormones to get balanced. Also about me getting back on the pill. It wasen't so much my skin was dry, it felt like it was going to crack open. I had to gobs thick creams on my face which would make my rosacea so much worse. Thats why its a relief to have my oils back. I just don't want the breakouts. Do u think tetracyclin would get rid of it? Thanks > > You are having hormonal breakouts which always come > > out like cysts - usually > > in your mouth/chin area as a result of being off the > > pill. Guest guest
My doctor tells me that I have all the symptoms of Lupus but that if one of like 3 different blood tests doesn't come back positive, then I don't have Lupus. Everything that I've read contradicts what he is telling me. When I first got sick, at the age of 14, I had a positive ANA test but it was at a low titer, does that still count? Could that still mean that I have Lupus or will he probably argue that? We are just SO close to having a name to finally call what I have, that's all we want; Is to know what's going on with me. From what I understand though I have more than one autoimmune disease. We at least know that I have Fibromyalgia and now they're talking about the Lupus, and it does fit. If anyone knows anything about the blood work I'd appreciate a little help. Thanks! Dawn Marie
