As a nurse and one with FM, yeast is often mentioned in articles. I went

to a doctor in Blufton, OH who was big into the yeast free diet which was

very hard to do in our world. He said the yeast die off from nystatin

would make a terrible flare but had me limit sugars first and use herbs

that help reduce yeast like garlic (so I am growing it now) melaleuca

essential oil (Melrose) to put in massage oil or in hand soap and to

diffuse the essential oils to kill air bourne molds, bacteria, fungi etc.

I like the smell of using the oils that way plus it cleared up the kid's

allergies after a few months.

He had me do a detox with a Cleansing Trio to pull garbage out and be

sure my body was eliminating not storing the wastes. I had such good

results adding the Megazyme tablet to my daily supplements and no longer

have irritable bowel!

It helps to read the labels on all your house cleaning products. There

are many good books and websites to read more about indoor pollution. I

think the outgassing in our new home is what has caused my latest flair.

I dumped all my cleaners with warnings on the label and am going to use

more environmentally friendly ones now I have read the dangers just

breathing them will cause.

I found a soap with the essential oils in it instead of chemicals and

anti bacterials that only kill the easy to kill varieties allowing the

bad stuff to get out of hand.

I did not realize I was poisoning my own home with the things I used.

Just think of how the air from the dishwasher vents to our home or how

the laundry soap in our clothes is in contact with our skin. With FM I

find myself so sensitive that even those smells bothered me where the

pure essential oils do not. They cost more but are concentrated and I

know they help. Its like the old fashioned way of doing things. I grow my

own mints, lavender and some veggies in a tiny garden. As bad as I feel

some days its wonderful to see the progress of a healthy garden!

and find a passion, something that gets you outside of your agony. I

believe in Angels and ask them to help me survive when the doctors have

no answers.

Blessings,

Marie

Marie~

My sister and a friend of mine from up there sees Dr. Dagani. I do belive

that is spelled wrong......He's a doctor I don't know very well. I only know

what my sister and my friend has told me. It is such a small world. It amazes me

at how many people I've met via Internet that are from Ohio. Well, just wanted

to express my amazement. Everyone have a great evening.

I don't know if I have told you as my fibro fog has been doing double duty

lately but I am from Akron. I grew up in West Virginia.

Take care,
