Not to change the subject, but my dog takes Prednisone as well. I have to

administer it when he has a bad reaction to something allergy wise...For

instance an adverse reaction to his shots. Thankfully I have not had to use

it often, but I wonder if it has the same negitive effects on dogs as humans.

, I am so sorry to hear about your son and father-in-law.

I should have said that my doc put me on prednisone before I was diagnosed

with fibro. I know that it did terrible things to my body!! I will never

do that again.

But for my daughter's asthma, it helped tremendously!! She only took it

maybe 3 times for severe asthma attacks. If it wasn't for that drug, she

would have ended up in the hospital hooked to a respirator.
