Guest guest
Hi Everyone. I have been so busy haven't had time this week to check in until now. I had my rheumy appt. on Monday. He did a thorough check on all my movement etc. Seems according to my test results and his check he doesn't feel he should diagnose me with Lupus at least not right now. He said the first tests showed only a slight low positive towards lupus. My movement in all my joints is very good he said and he said the pain in my feet and legs isn't consistent with Lupus. He thinks that my lower back may have some problems and causing the pain in my feet and legs. He also is having me get more blood tests to check for rheumatoid arthritis. I have had crohns since 1999 and he said some of my symptoms could come from that. I was told to quit taking my medications for the Lupus for now. He wants to see me back in 2 months. He said if I do have Lupus it is a minor case and would probably not require medication. I'm not sure what to think about all this. I mentioned feeling tired a lot and he said my weight (I need to lose a good 80 lbs.) could cause part of that and that I need to concentrate on losing the weight to see how much of a difference it will make on how I feel. I guess for now I will just have to wait and see how I feel for the next 2 months. I have lost 10 lbs so far and I do feel somewhat better but I still get tired and the achy muscles occur off and on too. Anyone had any advice? The doctor seemed to be a good physician and I would be happy to think I don't have Lupus but what are all the weird things that happen caused from??? Well take care all and have a pain free week! And Thanks to all of you who answered my earlier reply.
