Guest guest
Well, well Cheryl, we have more in common than we thought! We were both paste up Artists.! Cool .....I had always begged the Company I worked for to let me learn to do advertising copy on the Computer.......I was ordering the copy and fonts, and such, anyway for the Computer Guys to print up. I wanted to learn to do the whole thing, but they said they needed me more to set up the Jobs.......So I never learned to use a computer till my son got Lamar for me! C. for C I used to be a paste-up gal too. I used to sell print ads, advice the business on what to say, paste up the ad and send it to the printer, then collect all the money too. I liked it. I can’t draw, I used art books and picked out pictures, shrank or increased the size to fit, and choose the colors and font. I also took pictures and submitted them with the verbage. I have always been fascinated with advertising. I still am. I am a published writer but haven’t written anything but ad copy in many years.
