Guest guest
You guys are making us Aussies so jealous! In , we sweltered through a 39 degree celsius day last week (102 degrees F according to a handy little online calculator) and that is not unusual for this time of year and we're preparing for a couple more months of that sort of weather. We rarely get below 0C even in Winter and it only snows once every few years. We talk about moving to Tasmania or England to rejoice in the cold weather, but after reading all your posts, I think the US might be on the cards too! > > It is 26 degrees F this morning in East Texas and this little Texan is freezing her backside off, but that is ok because by lunch time it will be 70 and we will all have the windows open!! Have a great weekend everybody. > > > > > >

Guest guest
Hi, If you are interested in rejoicing the (really) cold weather, think of Finland, too. We live in the central Finland and here it is now (about midnight here) -18,5 C. Daytime it was about -10 to -15 C. We do have exchange students from Sydney and Melbourne experiencing the winter wonderland, so why not add Finland to our list of places where to move to (or at least visit) - welcome!
