A few years back I had taken celexa. I took it for about 2 months. I had been diagnosed as being bi-polar and this was the first medication they put me on. It had made me really sick that I was becoming great friends with the toilet. I was then moved onto prozac. Th at didnt help me one bit. I am now on zoloft and it has helped but I either need my mg bumped up cause I am noticing that my patience level with my 9 month old is not there anymore and I am afraid that I will hurt him. My doc said he was goign to put me on something new to help with the depression and my fibromyalgia but didnt give it to me. I am on 50mg of zoloft and it just isnt working anymore. Have any ideas what I can do in the meantime to stay sane with my son? Until I get new meds or a higher dosage? Thanks.

If you have been diagnosed as bi polar.....why aren't you on Medication for Bipolar Disorder?

And for Heaven's sake contact your LOCAL CRISIS INTERVENTION CENTER....... for someone to help you find rescources to help you get the help you need before you hurt your baby.....Does your doctor know about these feelings? If NOT LET HIM KNOW IMMEDIATLY, IF NOT SOONER!! .......If he has diagnosed you as bipolar then he needs to put you on something for that specific disorder......I have been diagnosed with Clinical Depression.....and have tried many different antidepressants before I finally found one that worked for me. In the meantime you need to find a way to keep from hurting your baby.....I KNOW YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO THAT ! AND IT IS HAPPENING ALL TOO OFTEN......BECAUSE PEOPLE DID NOT GET THE HELP THEY NEED !

Do an online search for Bipolar Disorder to get more information. And there are support groups online for you.

Please be careful,
