Guest guest
Janie, sounds like as it caused palps it might also increase thyroid function... Guest guest
Ah Ha!! You might be onto something there. I am going to get my herb book. Today's Herbal health mentions Ginger for pain, but nothing about Thyroid. But it does say that it promotes perspiration so may be. Also effective as a cleansing agent among other things. Good for combining with other herbs because it enhances their effectiveness. And thank you for bringing this up as I have had a bronchial problem for months last fall, got rid of it and now have it again. Dry cough that is very annoying. No runny nose or anything else just the bronchial thing. *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** Janie, sounds like as it caused palps it might also increase thyroid function... Maybe that is how it relieves the pain & inflammation in the joints. Hmmm. What I do know is that it is " anti-inflammatory " , but am not sure why. We need to look this up. As far as it's relation to the thyroid, what it DOES do, as the thyroid does, it increase your metabolism. So.....theoritically, it can help with weight loss! Guest guest
This is another case of the FDA protecting the durg companies, insted of the public. All of these drugs (2 inhibitors) should have been recalled, and the problem investigated throughly, and either determined ot be a problem or not. From what I have seen on the subject, there is a problem. As of yet, ther is no corolation to 'outside factors' such as other heath problem or other medication. Personaly, until the questions are answered, I would not touch the stuff. The answers will not come untill the next president is in place and 'honest' FDA people are returned to the job. Guest guest
Honest FDA is an oxymoron. FDA is just a front for big pharma. Same with CDC. WHO. Most Americans are under the mistaken impression that the FDA is an independent governmental agency with it's own labs. Like most people don't realize that the Federal Reserve is a PRIVATE bank... Thank God for the internet where we can figure out what's real and network to find out what's true. (At least for now.) Most people don't realize that by passing legislation to suspend due process protections in the cases of " persons of interest " that we may all be treated as " persons of interest. " Sorry must be the hypo paranoia, again... .... 'honest' FDA

Guest guest
yes, same thing happening this side of the pond in putting people under house arrest. It's the thin end of the wedge as far as I'm concerned because then they could extend it to other so called unproven crimes. What really makes me laugh is that Hain, Leader of the House of Commons, spent his whole life fighting against apartheid in South Africa where they had legalised house arrest for decades but now he has voted for the same thing in the UK They're all a load of puppets Lynda (in the UK) Re: Re: If you are on CELEBREX......or other pain inhibitors Most people don't realize that by passing legislation to suspend due process protections in the cases of " persons of interest " that we may all be treated as " persons of interest. Guest guest
Maybe instead of flouride/chlorine in the water we should pass legislation to have adrenal support and thyroid support then even our representatives' IQ's could return to normal. Maybe it's mass brain fog. When I was little they used to teach us that the Devil always made the bad choice look attractive... With everyone everywhere everyday " living in Overwhelm " , it is easy to be stampeded before we know it. We are examples of human limits being exceeded by modern stressors and demands. .... yes, same thing happening this side of the pond in putting people under house arrest.
