Guest guest
At night, both my of legs " go to sleep " as we call it. They aren;t numb. They hurt so bad I can hardly take it. The pain wakes me up. I can get up and walk it off but as soon as I get in bed, it starts again. I have long slept on my left side or my back because of all the pressure points I have on the right leg, way up to the hip and down, but nothing like this. the only new med I am taking is Prevacid. Can anyone help me figure this out? Margaret (Marty) Byers , Ph.D., Retired Social Psychologist, AR. Guest guest
Hi Marty, I go through periods when I get the " pins and needles " , though mine are more often in my hands than in my feet. I sleep with a pair of compression gloves that I was given for an incorrect diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome. They helped with the pin and needle numbness then, and so I used them up untill recently, when a rather vicious and toothy puppy ate them. I will have to get another pair when that particular symptom reappears. I wonder if the compression socks they make for certain circulatory problems will help?
