I went thru quite a bit of this in the first few months of treatment. I was

sad. angry. mad. sad again. I guess it's a grieving process sort of. of

what has been lost. the years that were lost. the things i could have done.

but one thing is true. we can not change the past. we can only make our

future better by getting well. and dwelling on the past doesn't help a whole

lot.

i did get some anger out by writing several doctors and basically telling

them " hey guys and gals...you missed it...and try not to miss it in others you

are treating - so that they don't feel bad for years like i did " ....

but expect some emotional things to be going on with you ....as your brain

and body heals...that's pretty normal i think.

hehe...i knew it was 40 months for you....I had about 25 for me...and

honestly...at the 11th month....there's been lots of improvement...and i'm

looking

forward to the next year or so to see what other good things happen.
