Guest guest
Can you help me on a thyroid case? A teenager (around 16) who had severe psychiatric problems because of Hashimoto's has been started on Armour. He has been on 1 1/2 grains for ...hmmm.....let's say around 3 months. But still having depression and fatigue. In other words, still some hypo symptoms. So the Mom tried to raise him to 2 grains. After 4 days of feeling " overheated " , they had to drop him back to 1 1/2 grains. Another note is that this teenager may have had thyroid dysfunction for some time....there were some problems as a child. So what is going on here? Any ideas? Help please. Guest guest
she took thyroid meds first and got little out of them except what you described when she took too much. when they added the cortisol with the thyroid meds, it changed her life. Now she's only on the thyroid meds, no more cortisol, and doing well. ~Alyce nc2406@... wrote: In a message dated 3/3/2005 9:51:30 PM Eastern Standard Time, alyce13j@... writes: > have they tested his adrenal function?
