Guest guest
Allergies, cause the ears to fill with fluid a lot of the times. Ringing, itching, too. There are other causes too of course. My grandmother never had allergies either, till she was 86, the other one developed an allergy to black pepper. It caused her to itch and get breathless. allergies can do strange things. One girl I knew would go blind when she got around horses, never knew the mechanics of it, coudl have been that her eyes matted up so bad she coudlnt see. I get IBS with several foods. Bloody colitis from apples. go figure. Ate them all my life till I was 18 and boom, got me. Who knows, it could be the pesticides they put on them while growing??? dena Re: Allergies and FM > I DEFINITELY think there has to be a connection between FM and Allergies. I myself have both. Maybe it has something to do with a weakened immune system? I don't have allergies, never have, but I can tell that I'm getting more sensitive to things the longer this goes. I've only been exhibiting symptoms for 8 months or so now but I'm already seeing a change. I'm getting sensitive to foods to the point that some days I'm only able to eat raw fruit or cooked vegetables and only if I cook them, and only meat I've cooked and not beef unless I know it hasn't been injected with hormones. Otherwise I feel like I got kicked in the ribs and my trigger points flare up because my body isn't detoxing like it should. I'm going to ask my Dr tomorrow about Growth Hormone therapy, I'll let everyone know if I get it and if it works. I also was having problems with itchy painful ears, I had an ear infection and it cleared up with some antibiotics, couldn't tell I had one. Otherwise they get itchy with certain foods I eat cause of the drainage it causes. Ellie
