The above statement by Cindi is TRUE and is why everyone should do

their own research before following the advice of any one doctor!!!

A surgeon is going to recommend surgery. A radiologist is going to

recommend radiology. A chemo doc is going to recommend chemo. ANY

doc is going to recommend any of the above if they have colleagues

who do ANY of the above.

This is NOT to say that you should NOT do any of the above for

certain problems. BUT......INVESTIGATE. ASK QUESTIONS BEYOND WHAT

YOU ARE TOLD. JOIN GROUPS. etc.

EXAMPLE: My husband had prostate cancer just over a year ago. All of

the above was recommended to him by different docs. NO ONE told him

about Proton Beam Therapy, which to the treatment of prostate cancer

it like Armour for thyroid problems. I only found out about it by

joining a few prostate groups, including a GAY MEN'S prostate group--

I figured they would have excellent info--and it was one of those

wonderful individuals who emailed me PRIVATELY and told me to look

into Proton Beam Therapy.

Check around for ALL options.
