Guest guest
Nikki, I have not had a diagnosis of anything yet and have been doctoring with my Rhuemy for well over a year. I have blood work done every 4 to 6 weeks. I also see Rhuemy roughly the same time periods. I don't know how much that will change if I ever get the dx. I am sure you are going to hear from several members telling you how often they are tested. In the meantime, don't fool with the pain in your side much longer. Get it checked out. Nikki Stover wrote: Hi all!How often do you get your blood work done? I am stillnew to all of this and my Rheumy isn't checking myblood work for another 4 months. I have beenasymptomatic (for the most part) but my blood work nowindicates the lupus is active. We have figured outthat I have had a couple of flares but didn't realizeit at the time because they were both different than Iexpected. I don't want to come off as paranoid but Idon't want to miss something my body is trying to tellme. For instance, I have had pain in my lower leftabdonimal area (tender to the touch even) for aboutthree days. I feel constipated but am definitely NOT!I am bloated though. I haven't called the Drbecause I don't want to bug my Rheumy in case it isn'tanything lupus related and I am between family Dr'sfor now. So, do I just wait and see what happens? Iwould know if there was something bad going onwouldn't I? Am I being silly? I just don't know whatto expect yet with all of this and want to doeverything I can to help myself out! Thanks for listening!Nikki__________________________________________________
