Guest guest
I snore awful in my sleep but have never been tested for sleep apnea wonder if I should though??? shirley Re: Sleep Apnea ..... and breathing Hello!! I was told that you snore, when you have sleep apnea. Do you snore? Can you have sleep apnea without snoring? According to my husband I don't snore, but I wonder about sleep apnea. My biofeedback doctor tested my breathing. he measured the level of CO2 when I breath out, and my breathing in general, and how it's supposed to be in rythm with your heart rate. Well, my CO2 levels are low, and that could be the cause of fatigue. Has anybody heard about this? No matter how hard I tried to breathe diffently, I could never get my level up. Any information would be appreciated. I'll be going to my primary care physician again tomorrow and I hope she will have any ideas what to test me for. I was in a car accident 4.5 years ago, had a mild traumatic brain injury, whiplash. I've been dealing with miofacial pain and trigger points, headaches, extreme fatigue!!! etc. ever since. I have not been diagnosed with fibro, but I have a lot of the symptoms. I really want to get to the bottom of this. Thank you very much, , CO This might sound weird, but I dearly love my doctor and wouldn't trade her in for anything. She thinks sleep apnea is the cause of fibromyalgia. Sure enough, I found out that when I sleep, I stop breathing 38 times an hour on the average. I don't tolerate the C-pap machine well, so I'm getting sent to a specialist in sleep disorders who happens to also be a specialist in fibromyalgia. Has anyone else been tested for sleep apnea? ~ :-D
