Guest guest
Hello: I am just reading my first few posts as I started this week. I am in southwest Texas where it is so hot right now. It sure does not help fibromyalgia one bit. I have had this for 24 years, and it may have stemmed from a whiplash in which I also had a head injury. Probably will never know. After floundering around for 10 years I had to stop work and go on disability. I have been evaluated by Dr. Don Golenberg in Boston when they first started treating this synfdome, and he diagnosed me. Oddly enough I have never achieved real pain control. I am coming off MS Contin right now and I am using methadone for the tapering, and effexor and that's all. it does not help the pain, so I also take tylenols. After this I don't know what the doctor will do - I am in a big hospital pain clinic now. Still learning and anxious to get to know y'all Best, Janet Remember to send a loving message to someone dear, today and every day. ---------------------------------
