I

was discharged from the hosptial last night, just 53 hours after I came

out of surgery. :-) I am not going back to Nebraska yet. There is a

place called the Strawberry House only 4 block away from the hospital.

It is a 2 bedroom condo that is just like a home away from home. It is

the same concept as the Mc house, for families in town for

medical reasons. We stayed her last night and will tonight and

hopefully will head home tomorrow. I am not going to push it though.If

I am feeling better we will leave tomorrow and drive for a while and

stop somewhere if needed and stay there overnight. I am so thankful to

family and friends at home taking care of the kids during this time. It

is verycomforting to knwo that my kids are in good hands and I do not

have to rush home to take care of them.I am feeling pretty good,

considering. I am really achy from laying around so much but I guess I

just have to get used to that. I can tell it will be a long frustrating

recovery but I will take it slowly. I can't wait to be better again and

to start living. It has been so long since I have been able to do

" normal stuff " without being in a lot of pain. I have been getting

emails from others that had Chiari surgery to remind me to take it

slow, lol. I will. :-)
