Do you remember the name of the book? We have several different types of feeders, including hummingbird, & are always looking for new ideas. Sometimes we find some that can be made for a kids project or by the nursing home residents. Our society purchased & put up feeders for several of the area nursing homes & we also have cockatiels in a couple of the homes. The residents love them.

There was an article from a lady who had hummingbirds fighting over the feeder, so she made some. She took a bouillon jar and poked holes in it. Then some sturdy wired that was coated in plastic to use for a perch. The picture in the book had a hummingbird eating from it. Would be a wonderful project for kids.Love & Friendship,Ellen
