Guest guest
This is from the link Cindi posted earlier: " According to the Armour Thyroid site, the ratio of T4 to T3 in Armour desiccated thyroid is 4.22 parts of T4 to one part of T3. This higher-than-human ratio of T3 to T4 means that T3 levels are typically higher than T4 levels in patients taking desiccated thyroid. Some patients take some synthetic T4 with desiccated thyroid to balance the ratio, while others do fine on desiccated thyroid only. " Could this maybe explain why when we do " extra " strenuous stuff we feel bad the next day? Could it be because when we get to the right T3 amount, the T4 is slightly lower than it was when we had healthy thyroids, so there's not as much as our bodies need to convert to T3 when we really need it? Just a thought, I'm definitely not advocating taking $ynthroid! LOL Comments, anyone? Joyce
