Guest guest
< > Hi ! No my hubby isn't in the military, but he travels *a lot* for his job. He's usually gone for a solid week or week and a half every month and then maybe a weeks worth of days here and there every month. I have lots of friends and emotional support when he's gone, but not really anyone to help me out with the physical challenges. Both our families live about 4 hours away. The biggest problem is driving back and forth to work -- it's about a one hour commute both ways and my body just aches and aches after I drive that far. He's interviewed for another job that wouldn't require traveling and would allow me to stay home and just do some contract work on the side. We should hear soon if he's going to be called back for the second interview -- we're keeping our fingers crossed! To tell you the truth, I'm not really sure if Zanaflex makes me groggy in the morning as I'm always groggy in the morning. I suppose it doesn't make me any groggier than normal ... Sometimes I don't know if I'm tired b/c of the fibro or b/c of medication side effects. I don't remember a time recently when I haven't felt at least sort of groggy and achy. It was starting to get better as the weather warmed (we live north of Chicago) but recently, and at least for the next 7 days, it's only supposed to be in the high 60s and cloudy and rainy. Not good for my fibro or my mood! Well - just 2 more hours until I get to go home for the weekend ... hopefully it will pass quickly!
