Maybe it has something to do with a weakened immune system? I don't have allergies, never have, but I can tell that I'm getting more sensitive to things the longer this goes. I've only been exhibiting symptoms for 8 months or so now but I'm already seeing a change. I'm getting sensitive to foods to the point that some days I'm only able to eat raw fruit or cooked vegetables and only if I cook them, and only meat I've cooked and not beef unless I know it hasn't been injected with hormones. Otherwise I feel like I got kicked in the ribs and my trigger points flare up because my body isn't detoxing like it should. I'm going to ask my Dr tomorrow about Growth Hormone therapy, I'll let everyone know if I get it and if it works. I also was having problems with itchy painful ears, I had an ear infection and it cleared up with some antibiotics, couldn't tell I had one. Otherwise they get itchy with certain foods I eat cause of the drainage it causes. Ellie

Guest guest
I DEFINITELY think there has to be a connection between FM and Allergies. I myself have both. Maybe it has something to do with a weakened immune system? I think that a lot of the medical problems that we have to deal with are concerned with a weakened immune system. I also think that when they find out what causes fibro, they will find that the immune system is a part, if not the main part) in fibro.> > Take care, Irene Books may well be the only true magic Alice Hoffman
