Doofus,

My problem is that I CAN remember what it was like to feel normal....and have fun......and not hurt.....but I try to cherish those memories now instead of grieving for them.

I have a "Here's your sign' moment for you.....We have been having torrential rains here in North Texas.....seventeen days in a row of rain.There are flash floods everywhere, they had to evacuate the Fort Worth Zoo, the other day .....and that night I woke up to crashing thunder....I jumped out of bed still half asleep and in a panic .....thinking,"WE'VE GOT TO GET THESE ANIMALS ON THE ARK !" .....Of course Jeff Foxworthy was right there with my sign as soon as I was more awake.

Dear Doofus,

Don't you sell yourself short, I just learned a lot about being in remission from reading this letter you wrote to Nikki....I am still trying to figure out since my new Rheumy says I am in remission from my Lupus now .....how I can still feel so tired and achey. He says It is because I have Fibro. and Sjogrens. All I can say is OWIE.....OWIE.....OWIE !!.

Also , you are not known as "THE DOOFUS".....you are "MY DOOFUS!"
