Guest guest
Hello everybody, I´m new to fibromyalgia, if that is what I´ve got, which I´m not too sure yet. I guess you all must be quite fed up of explaining symptoms to people who join in, but please this would help me loads, if you could give me some information, I´ll try to make it as short as possible. Well I´ll introduce myself first, I´m , 33 years old and from Spain. Last July I started having my first symptoms, I was feeling really tired, my neck and shoulders were killing me, I could hardly sleep at because of the pain on my neck and shoulders, I felt itchy all over and felt like a burning sensation all over, my left arm would swell and get rock hard and eventually it went back to its normal stage. After almost one year from this, I still have a fairly stiff neck and shoulders but not half as much as before, I strecth daily in order to loosen up my muscles. Other symptoms are for example my jaw, its quite stiff and it cracks when I open and close my mouth, the feeling is like if I´d been laughing for hours and my jaw aches from the exercise. Other symptoms for example, one day suddenly my ankle hurts, like if I´d sprained it, but I haven´t really, I can´t hardly walk with that foot, I´ll put a bandage on it and after two days, the pain is gone like if nothing, this can also happen with my wrist. It just varies from day to day, my legs are another problem, if I walk to much or do any kind of exercise like climbing stairs, my legs feel really heavy like if I´d run a marathon, but then again this feeling might dissapear the following days. My tongue is another problem, sometimes it feels like if its pulling from the back of my throat its a strange sensation like if it gets tired if I talk for a while, or the feeling that its swollen or slow in reacting, I find it a bit hard to explain all this symptoms. Generally the pains I have are usually related to elbows, ankles, wrists, neck and shoulders, jaw. I don´t think I have cronic fibromialgia, I do have the tender points they talk about and other symptoms like headaches, sometimes I feel clouded or foggy and I find it hard to go to sleep at night times, specially when I wake up two or three times to go to the toilet, apart from this I have premature menopause. sorry to go for so long, but I would really appreciate some advice or answers to my symptoms, next time I won´t ramble so much.
