Guest guest
Name: Cinder, I live in Arizona, I'm 35 and female What are the symptoms? I'm very, very tired, I have lots of pain, including chest pain, irritable bowel problems, abdominal pain in the upper right quadrant, nausea/vomiting, migraines (one went for 2 months straight), weird muscle spasms, can't get enough sleep and I feel fuzzy all the time. Has you illness been diagnosed? Fibro was first suggested to me two days ago by my primary physician. He did the pressure points and it really hurt. I've had lots of tests (CAT scan, EKG, colonoscopy, MRI) over the last year, all were negative. How long did you suffer before you got help? Still suffering. I've had weird problems on and off since I was 17, but things took a turn for the worse about 2 years ago, and I've been almost always sick since then. The last 2 weeks have been the worst. Is there a time that you can remember when it started? I had a large kidney stone in November 2000, followed by 3 months of infections and antibiotics. My health was never the same after that. Some of us have found lack of exercise we are overweight. Have you found this to be a problem also? Yes, I'm overweight, but I've lost 12 pounds recently, because I don't eat as much as I used to. It's not worth the pain. Are you on disability? No, but I'm on a leave of absence from work and don't know what I am going to do. *** How do I find a doctor (in the Phoenix area) who is experienced with this and takes me seriously? I'm very frustrated with the way most doctors have treated me. *** thanks, Cinder ---------------------------------
