Hi:

Here's the entire proposed change which became effective in

Feb., 2002.

http://www.ssa.gov/regulations/rin0960_ab01f.htm

If I read the above changes correctly these changes should

make it easier to get approved for Fibro and many other

problems as the guidelines are not as stringent as they

used to be.

I was also pleased to read the following:

" we changed the reference from ``a record of ongoing

treatment´´ to ``a record of ongoing management and

evaluation.´´ "

It lifts a great pressure from the disabled in meeting SSA

criterion.

Gee maybe there is hope.

Thank you so much Tina!!! I broke down and called my lawyer today and said:

" Go ahead with the filing " . I've been putting him off waiting for a new

doctor to wave a magic stethoscope over me and 'heal me'... still waiting.

I'm definitely checking into this!

Tina,

I have gone to this site and printed it.

I am slowly but surely getting it read. But often due to cognitive

impairments I have difficulty remembering and sometimes understanding what I

have read. So if possible could you tell me in what section

> " we changed the reference from ``a record of ongoing

> treatment´´ to ``a record of ongoing management and

> evaluation.´´ "

is in?

Thnak You, Cinda
