Judge Judy Judges Fibro Grrrrr

I admit it. I'm an ocasional Judge Judy watcher. However, (6/21/02)

which aired on WTVT in Tampa, she made a comment that REALLY ticked

me off. Her comment was directed at the defendant, who suffers from

FM. Judy told the woman that if she could have 2 kids, she CAN

work...although the woman had documentation from her doctor that she

was no longer allowed to work, due to her fibromyalgia.

I was so upset, I decided to write to Judge Judy with my opinion.

There is an e-mail form on her website, although it does say that

Judy most likely would not be able to respond. I felt it necessary to

voice my opinion anyway.

Dear Judy ,

Whilst I have not seen the exact programme I understand that your

programme recently told a fibromyalgia sufferer that if she had two

children she could work.

Haveing fibromyalgia is not quite as simple as that. I would point

you to Dr Devin Starlanyls own webb pages and books to give you a

clearer understanding of this illness and in deed my own webb page as

I host a Fibromyalgia Support Group for Sufferers Internationally.
