Guest guest
> I am not saying that you shouldn't use some common sense, You hit it squarely on the head. The problem is that many folks will buy all the items that someone has to sell, and 1) they didn't really need them, or 2) even if they did, there can be far cheaper choices and just as quality. I'm glad you had a good experience! And yes, profit is not a bad thing! Unfortunately, we have seen a few folks over time here who bought lots of expensive stuff they didn't need, and/or they could have found it much cheaper somewhere else....and still just as quality. And honestly......even though I support profit......and though I support natural ways to help us, I find it a conflict of interest when a health professional sells his own vitamins/minerals/herbs. I have personally experienced two health professionals who did this to me, and I felt taken advantage of since I was in a needy state (i.e. sick or hurting). Patients are often desperate and vulnerable-- willing to do ANYTHING to feel better. Again, if someone has a positive experience as you did with a health professional that sells his own vitamins/minerals/herbs, good!! But......I notice that all too often, the patient gets suckered...because you can't take away normal human greed.
