Guest guest
Look call me crazy, but it just hit that perhaps when you talk about these side effects of Armour might be because you are switched. Try doing some brain patterning by cross crawling. I am kind of in a hurry here, but your brain may be switched i.e. the right side is trying to run the right side of your body and the left the left, and it is supposed to be right runs left, left runs right. One of the supplements that will help this is spurulina. To begin with you may have to take quite a lot to help alleviate this problem. Cross crawling means that you move your arms and legs like you would if you are crawling. Left arm and right leg move forward and then right arm and left leg move forward. All you have to do is actually lift your fingers and toes in that sequence, it doesn't have to be an obvious movement. But . . . if you are badly switched you may have to get down on the floor and actually crawl, thinking conciously about what you are doing. If your brain is not switching properly between the right and left hemiphere, things that you are putting into your body could work the opposite of what they are supposed too. In our everyday lives we tend to do things that help us to stay centered, but some of us need to consciously work on our switches by doing cross crawling everyday. Sorry I think I may have posted something about this before, but I am on a roll so am not going to stop now!!You can help keep centered by making sure that you do not have any negative pictures in your surroundings. Keep the tip of your tongue centered on the roof of your mouth behind your front teeth. Most people do this naturally. Also remove negative music from your home. To give you an idea of they type of music, (I don't have my book here so am doing this from memory) the Beattles songs, at least the popular ones, I won't say all as I am sure I haven't heard them all, were good to listen too. Most county music, and also classical. What surprised me was that jazz was okay. LOL I don't care for jazz. It has to do with the beat. This is all in the book " Your Body Doesn't Lie " , by Dr. Diamond. Do you remember the pictures of Farrah Fawcett? They show her on all fours with her blond mane looking at the camera and smiling. It turns out that picture is very negative. The picture of the farmers, an old man and woman with a 3 prong pitchfork, not good. I wouldn't be telling you all of this if I hadn't experienced good things by working on becoming centered. It doesn't cost you anything but energy to try, and I realize sometimes energy is in short supply that is why you only need to concentrate real hard and just lift the tips of your fingers and the tips of your toes. Oh and again tap on your breast bone to wake up your thymus. Sheila *********** REPLY SEPARATOR *********** Hi All... I switched from 20 years of synthroid over to armour about one month ago. Guest guest
It really sounds like you are right in your gut. If I remember right your switch to Armour was also to a little smaller dose than your Synthroid dose. You could do an experiment and raise your dose a little for just a couple of days or more by 15 mg or 30mg at the most and see if you feel better. You should know quickly if it helps. Then you will have your answer about whether it is the dose. Then drop back down a week or so before the tests if you are worried about the labs. Your dose is so low already that you will use up any extra left around in less than a week. Tish

Guest guest
>> Should I just sit tight and wait for the tests, and then up my own dose anyway if he doesn't? (also, gaining weight like mad). This is stupid isn't it? I know in my gut that this is from the dose being too low! ! << Do you have ANY faith this doctor will medicate you properly if you wait? If not I would increase now, why live in hypo hell for another couple weeks for nothing? Listen to your gut... Yes it is common for you to feel even worse when starting a too low dose of Armour and STAYING on it too long. This is why we encourage folks to increase every 2-3 weeks while their doses are under 3 grains. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes?
