Well, I had my Pampered Chef party today.  I sent out 36

invitations and 3 people showed up.  Two were married to each other!  I didn’t

have the energy to phone everyone and send cards too so I just mailed cards.  They

probably got the cards Tuesday or Wednesday and today is Saturday.  Oh well, at

least I got a lot of my house cleaned up.  My girlfriend came at 8 am to help

me clean.  I am exhausted! 

One reason for that is I was up worrying until 1AM last

night and got up at 7:30.  My husband came home from work at 3PM to tell me he

was laid off of his new job again!!  Again!

It turned out that just before he was hired his boss changed

the commission structure and a few guys were mad about it.  He was hired and

they moved someone from one Dept. into sales in their other office.  Their two

top sales reps told the boss they would quit if they didn’t get the

structure back.  He changed it back and let my husband and the other rep go.  My

husband was doing really well on the job and was told so several times.  All of

a sudden on Friday they tell him not to come back!  I cried my eyes out!!! 

Will we ever get insurance?????  He has had so many jobs in the last 2 years

that I can’t even count them all.  I never dreamed it would be like this

for us at this age.  Do you know how hard it is to get a job when you are 57

years old and have gray hair?  Two years ago if I knew what I would be going

through I would have done myself in!  Seven and 1½ years ago had I known my

life would be ruined by cancer; I should have skipped the hell they put me

through and died because life has been going down hill since then!  I had lupus

before cancer but because of the brain hemorrhage and fibromyalgia my life

changed.  I can’t help out by getting a job and feel like I am just a big

burden on my poor husband.  He tries so hard!  He is bipolar you know and the

pressure is horrible.  He is napping now because he had to take pills.
