Guest guest
What do you have to lose trying to work? If you can’t, you can’t! I am on disability and If I try and fail I may not be able to get back on it again because they make it so darned hard to get it in the first place! We need the money desperately and I keep thinking I should try but I can’t even keep a clean house or cook every night. I have a terrible memory and have nerve trouble too. I can’t stand for long, I can’t sit for long, is there I job where I can do it lying in bed? (now, now, get your brain washed.) Hope everyone is OK today, From: Athena Sent: Friday, July 16, 2004 11:17 PM To: LUPIES Subject: Re: Athena I'm confused in what to do, should I go back to work and maybe get to runned down or stay at home and go bonkers and stress because we just don't have enough money like we used to have. I don't know Kate what do you think? what does anyone think? well I vent for tonight. Hope you and everyone is doing ok.. My thoughts are with everyone.. Guest guest
Hello there. I know how you feel. I had to quit a job that I loved in March of this year. I was missing at least 1 1/2 days of work each week because of the pain. I hurt so bad I could not even concentrate. My husband has to work overtime just to make ends meet. I feel like my health is more important than a job. We miss the money but have made a lot of adjustments. I thought when I quit working I would feel better, but I still hurt. At least when I have a bad day I can grap an icepack and go back to bed. My husband is great. He understands all about Lupus, if that is possible. He reads everything I ask him to read. If ther is any way possible for you to stay home I vote for that. I have filed for disability and was denied, but I will appeal. Hang in there and do what you need to do to stay well. Lots of love, Aletha- ajybird
