Guest guest
Hi, I had a computer virus last night. I was just updating my virus scanner online, either I was browsing the internet or opened an incoming message, than it caught my computer. The moderators' addresses were in my addressbook. I hope no one was infected. It was a Trojan downloader WIN 32.Wintrim. Later, I deleted most addresses and also emails, as it seemed it had spread throughout posts already. I thought I managed to get it out and wrote the moderators a warning, but it seemed I had removed this part of the virus update, exactly the tool to recognize this Trojan! So when I run the computer scanner again, it seemed I still had it, while I did an online scan on Trendmicro as well. Apparently they don't upgrade the free scanner, not the Dutch version at least for trendmicro said I was virus free! I have a new virus scanner so I needed to find out how it works. It couldn't deinfect the virus, so I pressed "remove". I can still start the computer, apparently all I need, still is on the computer. But yeah, out of precaution I deleted all your emails, as your replies, my drafts, messages I had sent, everything. So I will reply by heart. I could go online and search messages sent to me, but I had quit an adventure in my wheel-chair Wednesday. As a result, I can hardly raise my arms. See you later! micha.
