This is so funny .....when I first started learninig to use my computer, and joined the Lupies.......I wondered the same thing....only I thought it was Just a "pet name' that everyone in the group called each other, Like "Brat" for the nickname for the Moderators, " The Brat Pack".

then My future daughter gave me a book that expains "online Shorthand"

LOL means "laughing out loud"

ROTFL means "rolling on the floor laughing"

LMAO Means "laughing my A** off."

BRB Means "be right back"

GF Means "girl friend"

BF Means " boy friend"

SO means " significant Other"

If there are any others that you see,and have you stumped, let me know and I will look them up in my book for you.
