Guest guest
Kate I've kept my hair SUPER short for yrs now, and, frankly, on ME it looks better than long hair, even when I was in my youth. I did keep my hair very long for quite a few yrs, just to please other people, but I'm one of those women with the right head shape and smaller features on the face, who looks much younger, more energetic, etc.....in very short hair. I do have friends, though, who have long hair, and some of them would look very strange in short hair, even above the shoulder. Mine is cut over my ears, and is short and sheared into the nape of my neck. I even get compliments from MEN on my hair, but I NEVER did, when it was long, even though the quality and thickness of the hair were huge. It's all in the head, so to speak, on what hair length and style that a woman looks best with, some long, some medium, some short. My hair is not as thick as it was 10 yrs ago, but now, taking Armour, it is shinier. It is finer than it was during my worst thyroid days, because the strands aren't thick and wiry like they were, and not dry now. On ME, I like the wispy cuts of the 80s, with the sprigs of hair sticking up. Each person has to have their OWN style, and it's not necessarily anyone else's style. I LOVE my short hair on me. For me, it looks " sexier " to show all of my neck, and it makes my eyes look much bigger.
