Guest guest
Greetings all :-) A friend's teenage son (17) is having a lot of problems - depression, fatigue, terrible mood swings, hair falling out, etc., & has been seeing a lot of doctors & not getting anywhere - besides being Rx'd some horrid combintations of anti-depressants :-( Thought it might be a good idea to run a thyroid panel (just to see!) & here are the results. TSH .6 (range .2 - 5.5) FT4 .9 (range .8 - 1.7) FT3 309 (range 287 - 455) Ferratin 18 (range 22 - 322) Hep A IGG positive The doctor has reported that all these results are, of course, " Normal " ! He is currently taking a teen multi-vit, 1000mg/day Omega 3 oil & Lamictal (lamotrigine) - 25mg for the last 2 weeks, & is about to go up to 50mg/day for the next 2 weeks. Can I have some feedback on other's interpretations of these results??? I think his ferritin is in the toilet (so to speak) but not sure about the other results. Really appreciate any feedback here :-)
